![]() ![]() It is properly installed in my WinXP SP2 system here: \Windows\Sys32\Macrome.and when going to the Macromedia Test Page for Shockwave movie, it works correctly in IE6.īut obviously it is not recognized by FF, so I then went to the same exact test page (Shockwave) and FF then brings up "Missing Plugins are required in order to view all the features on this page.ect" So I then go to Macromedia Shock Player D/L site (listed by Plugin Doctor) and D/L the dam ShockwavePlayer_slim_Installer (2.40MB) & then tried Shockwave Player_Full_Installer (4.84MB), but after clicking on it, it then loads the entire app (without allowing me to choose a browser's Plug-in Directory Firefox!!!) This has absolutely drove me quite batty, as I already have the latest Macromedia Flash Player 7.0.19 as a 'plugin' in my Plugin Directory. No problem, the FlashPlayer 7.exe installer allows you to choose which browser you would like to direct the actual NPSWF32.dll into.
